The Back Room wasn’t formed in a rehearsal studio. It grew out of friendship.
One songwriter who never stopped writing.
One bassist who never stopped believing.
One producer who believed these songs deserved to be heard.
Together, we recorded our debut mini album at Onion Records in Ubud, Bali.
Not to chase fame. Simply because some promises should eventually be kept.
THE BACK ROOM
Some dreams wait quietly.
Ours waited thirty-three years.
Not because we stopped believing in them.
Because life had other plans.
Careers.
Businesses.
Families.
Responsibilities.
Yet somehow, the songs never left.
They waited.
Quietly.
Until now.
THREE FRIENDS
Nine Songs. Thirty-Three Years.
WHY NOW?
These songs have travelled with me for most of my life… Businesses were built. Families grew.
Dreams were put on holdโbut never forgotten.
Eventually, unfinished dreams ask to be completed. This album is that promise finally being kept.

Each song captures a different chapter of life: love, hope, friendship, loss, gratitude and the quiet

HOW MANY MORE
Every album has a heartbeat.
For us, it is How Many More.
Written in response to the suffering of innocent children caught in war, it asks a question no child should ever force us to ask.
70% of the net proceeds from our debut single will support children affected by war and humanitarian crises through our humanitarian commitment.
Because music should leave the world a little better than it found it.
THE LISTENING DINNER
Before these songs are released to the world, we’d like to share them around one table with good food, good conversation and thirty people willing to truly listen.
Each song is introduced before it is performed because every song has a story.
Some studios are built to make hits. Onion Records was built to tell honest stories.
Because every song's purpose is to be heard.
MEET THE BAND
Three musicians. Three different journeys. One shared beliefโthat the most powerful songs are often the honest ones.

A LETTER TO THE LISTENER
If you’ve made it this far, thank you…
Our hope is simple: that somewhere within these songs you find a small part of your own story, and a reminder that it’s never too late to finish something you once believed in.
